There is more to life than just work, leisure time, materials and entertainment. Through the years that I have been serving a synagogue community, I learn that people turn to their Temple for spiritual sustenance, to search for the meaning of life, and to gain strength from a vibrant and supportive community. The members of TNT, as do most members of other congregations, come to Jewish life with a wide variety of religious backgrounds. Some are fluent in Hebrew, some have gifted synagogue skills, while others are beginners starting from learning the alef bet. At TNT, ALL are welcome. ALL are encouraged and helped to improve and develop whatever skills and knowledge they are seeking.

Temple Ner Tamid is a house where we open our doors wide to Jewish learning, spiritual uplift, Klal Yisrael (the whole of Israel), V'al kol yoshvei tevel (all who dwell on earth).  We are eager to help you live your Jewish lives and to help you grow in knowledge and in the fulfillment of mitzvot (the commandments).

If you are already a member, come, let us get to know each other.  Explore our new and meaningful Shabbat morning and evening services. Study together, socialize together, schmooze together, live together. If you are a young family, we invite you look for upcoming news and participate in engaging activities for families with young children. If you are a teenager, experience the fun of expressing your Jewishness with other teens.

If you are not a member yet, what are you waiting for? Join our family! I invite you to come visit and discover our congregation. Let’s sit together and explore your needs and get to know each other.

My door here is always open for you but to be sure there is no potential interruption, after all, your time is important, I like to schedule appointments. Why stop in if I am out visiting hospitals, nursing homes or even homes? Let’s meet but let’s make the time work for everyone.
